The annual Centralian Eisteddfod contributes significantly to building a vibrant healthy community by:

  • Creating supportive environments for our younger residents to build skills, confidence and resilience in this rapidly changing world.  We aim to increase community capacity to empower individual participants.

  • Developing personal skills of participants, volunteers and council members to play their role in successful Eisteddfods.  We aim to promote social responsibility for strengthening our community

  • Strengthening community action by working together with local businesses, government departments and members of the community to conduct successful Eisteddfod events annually.  We aim to secure a strong infrastructure for community development.

  • Advocating for the Eisteddfod to be conducted annually through securing funding, Enabling participants, volunteers and council members to achieve their fullest potential in the Eisteddfod, and Mediating on behalf of participants, volunteers and their families for support from outside organisations

  • Reorienting community development by encouraging the community's active participation in building a stronger community.  We aim to consolidate and expand partnerships to build a strong community.
